nook and kindle

welcome to my profile i read a lot and my nook is my favourite gadget. nook ebooks, how to download books for the nook, nook ebooks scam, book downloads for nook, nook downloads, nook ereader

are you looking for unlimited nook ebooks? in this article i will tell you the best ways to get unlimited downloads of content that includes books articles news, comics and novels. And how to avoid the sites that will get your nook or any other eReader infected with viruses and spyware.

There are two main ways i download content and ebooks for my nook.
1 – I use the Nook Ebooks service
2- I use the Scribd publishers site.

The First Nook Ebooks is a site that has a catalog of over 40,000 books of every genre and includes the newest and bestselling books and novels. It is a Subscription service but by paying you ensure all the books are high quality and virus free.

The Second is Scribd which is a publishers site and contains everything from short articles and stories to white papers and thesis’s. It does contain a lot of books but the newest books are almost always infected and not been published legally by the author of the book. The beauty of scribd is it is free and allows all users to publish their own content but not all content on the site is available for download or in a nook compatible format.

It is best also to avoid sites that offer single ebooks usually new or expensive books as these are normally trojans, it is also not good practice as the true authors will not get any money from a new book.

Nook ebooks is a premium service that i was recommended by a friend now i have access to download all the ebooks i like from the online library. The books can be browsed by genre or publisher and the user is free to download as many books as they like, i also like the fact that the service is not limited to a year but a lifetime membership so is really cheap compared to buying books individually.

If your looking for nook ebooks or a way to download unlimited ebooks then there are a few things to bear in mind. Some sites that provide ebooks are sources of Viruses Spy-ware and other Mal-ware. So you want to protect your nook from these types of ebooks.

There are also scam sites like the novel network and mypad media which do not offer anything of value and are completely misleading. A friend advises me to avoid after they were banned from several sites like clickbank for stealing from affiliates and not giving refunds. So these sites are best avoided for ebooks for any ereader.

There are two good ways to download ebooks in my experience with my nook. The First is a service called Nook Ebooks which allows unlimited downloads of ebooks from a massive library of over 40,000 books. It is a membership site but is a sign up once lifetime membership. I pay this membership as it gives me piece of mind that i will not be uploading anything that will break my favorite gadget.

The Second i would recommend is Scribd which is a download service where anyone can upload content articles and books. These can be read online with membership and some can be downloaded. However, this site is one to watch if your downloading a newest bestseller from here then chances are its a virus. but the older books and novels are worth searching for.

If your security conscious at all i would recommend avoiding any website offering the newest books for free as this is one of the fastest ways to fill your nook with ebooks that could damage your ereader. There is a  solution to viruses but it involves doing a factory reset and loosing everything stored on your nook including ebooks settings and anything else.

Hi,

I have listened to clif high for around a year, while many of his predictions are wide of the mark in the time i have been listening to him

However the two big hits he has made in the time i have listened have been the
1- “oil Volcano”
2- “20million people displaced by water(the pakistan floods)

If it wasn’t for his constant predictions of thermo nuclear war somehow involving Isreal and Iran which as far as i could tell would be made nearly every report.

He has however in my opinion had very good record when it comes to predicting points in time when large evens happen that effect masses of people.

I do not deal with how clif says he complies the data i simple take what the data says and try to make my own interpretation.

You can here the full interview still at VERITAS radio – it only available for a few days here.

This interview it is different to all the others from clif in the past, It has defiantly been made as a final with the goodbye theme throughout. It was an interview where clif really showed a side to himself he has never showed before.
The part about a contribution society where he became emotional was really telling and shows clifs empathy with the rest of mankind.

The Last Web Bot?

In my opinion yes this will be clifs last interview in this type of form. I say this for 2 reason;
1- if clif is right then there really wont be any way to listen in future.
2- if clif is wrong i doubt anyone will pay for his next report.

I don’t however care about if he is right or wrong, He is one of the most interesting people i have hear interviewed, and is not afraid to give his opinion and say how he sees things. I personally would continue to listen to clifs interviews regardless merely for the fact he is different interesting and opinionated.

On behalf of everyone Thanks for your work clif.

Yes the Stadium you will see real fights, I think usually its Monday Night & Thursday Night is the nights
the Fairtex Stadium holds fight nights.

If your lucky you might get there on a night where there is some sort of a title or “big fight” especially

if 2 Thai pro fighters with for them “big money” for the winner.

A lot of the foreign lads fighting (if they are not real serious going places with it, farang muay thai fighters)
are fighting Thai fighters who years back may have been the real deal, but today are well over the hill fighting wise, & fighting a bit of cash. (perhaps a bit more cash, for letting farang win!). As over the years I see the same thai lads fighting foreigners week in week on. Nothing wrong with that, as long as foreign lads (who are not real deal farang fighters) see it for what it is, & do not loose the ego. 😉

I guess its good for business, for the MT Camps to work it like this, set it up for foreign lad to win.
(too bad, they do not seem to tell foreign fighters, what the real situation is.).

All in All it is a good night once in a while esp if a big fight is on.

I see but not been yet, the Avenue Shopping Mall 2nd Road Friday nights in bedside new McDonalds have a Muay Thai fight night every friday at 6pm or 7pm & I think it is free in ?

Does anyone know if these are “real” fights?

Sometimes in the beer bars, you will see a few real fights, usually a foreign lad, doing a warm up fight for their stadium fight a week or 2 later. Good Friend Beer Bar on the weekends, down past Royal Garden Mall, you see an occasion real fight in there all free. check it out.

Hi all, in August/September of 2009 I spent 4 weeks at the Patong Boxing Gym (PBG) in Phuket, and here is my review.

First a bit about me, I am 43 years old, 6’1″ tall and 215 pounds, and I had NO prior boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, etc… training. Also my goal was to learn something new, have an adventure and get into better physical condition, but most importantly my goal was to accomplish this without injuring myself. So take this review from a standpoint of a novice with ZERO aspirations to get into competitive Muay Thai or MMA.

The Training: At PBG there were 5 trainers, four were young Thai, Muay Thai boxers who lived and trained at the gym for their own fighting career as well as to provide training to others, the 5th trainer (Sosh) was the Master, he is 41 years old and apparently was a champion back in the day. I attended 2 training sessions a day (7AM and 3PM), 6 days a week (M-Sat). I was fortunate to train exclusively with Sosh, I don’t know if it was luck of the draw, taking pity on the old Falang, young guys weren’t interested etc… but I could not have been happier because Sosh was excellent. The training regime was typically:

1) Cardio – 5K run in the AM, 15-20 min Jumprope in the PM
2) Stretching
3) Shadow boxing
4) 4-5 rounds (4 min each) of pad work – this is when specific technique training or sparring occurred
5) Heavy bag for more punches and kicks
6) Sit-ups and weight lifting

Altogether about 90+ min per session. And this was progressive, I did not start out at this level on day one, I worked up to it. Also items 2-5 are all 1:1 training, so these were not group classes or situations where you had a trainer bouncing back and forth between students. Whether this is usual or just an artifact of being there during the slow season, I can not comment on.

The Facility: The gym is on the hill overlooking Patong, unless you are rooming on site, you will need transportation to come and go, in that it is 5KM to the town and straight up hill. The facility is new, it is an open air building with a ring, a large mat area for pad work and heavy bags and a small weight room area (weights were pretty old, free weights, dumbbells and 1980’s vintage nautilus equipment), but they got the job done. There are fans to keep the air circulating but there is no aircon. Being on a hill top there was always a breeze, so not once was it ever too hot to exercise (note I did my road work early in the AM, in that Aug is not the time to run outdoors in the heat of the day unless you have outstanding conditioning). A clean bathroom with shower was onsite. Overall very basic, but clean and very functional.

The Safety: As mentioned before I had to work to the level of training I described before. All the instructors took great care to ensure you had properly stretched beforehand, they would do your hand wraps and they would do liniment massages as needed. As they brought you up the learning curve on the various techniques you would always start with no contact and then work your way up to ensure you new how to do the move prior to exerting a lot of force. They constantly were providing fresh water to drink, towel you down and douse you with water to keep your temperature down. If you had an injury, or bruise they would take it easy to heel (for example after the first three days your shins look like hamburger they are so bruised from the kicks, they would move to lighter “more softer” pads to kick as you recovered…). So overall safety was their top concern for the students.

Other PBG observations: While I was there there were 5 or 6 Falang students training for Muay Thai/MMA (all considerably younger and fitter then myself), and there were about the same number of people like me who were there on holiday with similar aspirations to me. Additionally people would come and go for a week or even an individual training session. Like everything in Thailand it was “Up to You”. If you were serious about this and once you had achieved a certain level of proficiency and conditioning they would arrange fights for you, a couple of the “serious” students did that while I was there. As callibration, Sosh told me if I wanted to fight in a sanctioned bout I would need another 6 weeks of training and conditioning.

Logistics: They have a decent guesthouse and restaurant onsite. I stayed in Patong (about 6 KM away) in a guest house and rented a motorbike while I was there. If you are staying in their guesthouse you most certainly will need a motorbike, in that as mentioned you are 5KM from town, 8KM from Banglia road and the beach. Whereas it is easy to get a taxi, tuk tuk, motorbike taxi etc to take you there, unless you arrange one to pick you up you will be walking back (they don’t cruise that area looking for fares).

Prior Conditioning: People ask me this a lot, prior to going to Patong I could run 6 miles on a treadmill in an hour. This was sufficient to get me started, but really it took me 2 weeks of training before my conditioning was such that I could accomplish the training regime I described above. Next time I will be in better shape prior to going to the camp. Some people there had less conditioning then I, and they accommodated (One man weighed well over 300 lbs of goo, and looked like he was going to stroke out walking up the path, but they slowed it down for him and he appeared to have a great time). Of course the younger more serious students looked like they were cut from solid oak. So something for everyone.

For me this was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend and I would definitely recommend the Patong Boxing Gym to the novice/holiday goer. As for those serious about MMA or Muay Thai I really can not comment on the caliber of training because your expectations are very different then mine…

I have photos, but they are redundant to the website (with the website being higher quality and more thorough) so rather then posting, here is the link, which also has pricing etc…

New Muay Thai Forum Launched

Posted: November 4, 2010 in Uncategorized

I just found this new muay thai forum just opened. It is on a really good site which focuses on thai boxers and but the information is top quality and everything is easy to read and well maintained.

The site has regular updates and is always adding content which is refreshing to see for a sports site of this sort. The forum seems like a friendly place so i am off to post and say hi.

Here is my first fight doing muay thai for everyone to see.

welcom to my profile please take a minuet to take a look at the following links that you might be interested in there is a wealth of information on muay thai boxing ebooks online and downloading free content for the ipad please enjoy. muay thai, ebooks for ipad, the seo advisor, acoms computers, muay thai blog, muay thai fighting, muay thai holiday, muay thai forumebooks online, Download Books Online, ipad ibooks, ebook downloads, download books, download ebooks, how i get unlimited ebooks

I brought my Apple iPad in September 2010 and was very impressed with it both as a piece of technology and as a fashionable accessory, and loved the fact I could store hundreds of books on it yet it is no bigger than a normal book.

I did however come across a problem which was finding quality content and ebooks to download to my iPad, My friend recommended a service to me called “The Novel Network” where he said I could download all the books, papers, novels and more.

I was naturally sceptical as I have been paying between $10-$20 dollars a time per eBook buying them directly from apple, this did not suit me as I can easily read a book a week and instead of saving myself money using a iPad instead of a paper book, which is why I brought my iPad.

So I took gamble and signed up to The Novel Network, it cost me £49.95 and from the second I gained access it has become one of the best purchases I have ever made. Instead of paying every time a new books is released I now simply log onto the network and download the book instantly. Its not just books either I have unlimited access to newspapers, novels, anime, bestsellers fiction and non-fiction.

I have already downloaded approx 90 books and newspapers which I am storing on my iPad, and will be download a lot more before my holiday next year where I will be taking my eReader to use for the 10 hour plane journey and for reading in the sun everyday on the beach.

The best part of it all is if I had paid for each book individually I would of paid around $900(if all the books cost only $10 each). So already by signing up to the novel network I have saved (conservatively $850) and that is within just one month of signing up, what’s even better is the fact I save more EVERYTIME I download another eBook. I also now download these books from the network to my Blackberry as well and have no problems with at any time. I love the way I brought the service for one piece of technology yet now I can use it on any mobile phone, computer, work laptop etc etc.

In conclusion, I was skeptical thinking the service was a scam and that the only way of getting quality content would be through apple or Amazon. However, I was more than surprise and I recommend this service to anyone. The more you read the more you will save. The service is legitimate and is one of the best services I have ever signed up to and at just 49.95 I will be a member for a long time to come.

If your like me you have just got a new ipad and you love it, Congratulations there are many people like us. From talking with other ipad owner i came across a common problem. Which was finding enough download-able content for when your not connected to the internet.

I Searched many different solutions to the problem including a site called scribd which allows you to download content in the correct format to your ipad. It allows anyone to publish content so has some brilliant independent writers and novelists, The drawbacks of Scribd is that it has a lot of junk content and pointless articles that dont help anyone. It also has a few viruses and spy-ware hacks being exploited. And my personal Big negative of the site is the Legality as there are a lot of good books posted but they are not always by the authors so may or may not be illegally posted.

I found an even better solution soon after Scribed called The Novel Network, it allows me to download books, comics, daily newspapers and much more and it is 100% legal as you pay a one off fee then this is distributed to the authors with content on the site. The Site has the newest and bestselling books and authors and you can basically download every book you have ever wished to read. I currently have downloaded over 300 books in 3 months i am saving up books for my Charity Trek across Africa later this year.

To Sum up i was blown away with the choice and number of books that could be selected and downloaded directly. It costs me just £49 for a whole year So even if you don’t read as much as me so long as you read more that 3 or 4 books a year this service could save you money too.

I hope you find all the content you need from reading this article
